  • History of distillery
    • Owned by sazerac
    • Drew Mayville was the master blender with seagrams, only the 4th one
      • When they closed their doors he joined buffalo trace as a master blender in 2004
      • Created batch 28Β  of the last drop
        • He put away 40 or so whiskeys from Buffalo trace while he has been there, and is releasing this very limited 1458 bottle release
    • Distilled and matured in alberta, then barrels are selected by mayville
      • Fun facts of the location
    • Most of sazeracs canadian whisky goes to fireball
    • Of the 200K+ barrels of canadian, only a few are selected for this
      • Released twice a year in the spring and fall
